BTR Cricket Club appeal
Dear Palace Shield Cricket lovers everywhere
Firstly thanks for taking the time to read through this
As you will know from previous posts over the last three years, due to circumstances beyond our control, there are only a handful of BTR scorebooks in existence pre 2000.
As a result of fantastic assistance from the Palace Shield family, old Club scorebooks have been located which has led to me being able to compile an archive which is growing monthly.
There is a lot of info on there, not all of it is BTR related, such as LEP press reports, Palace Shield handbooks and scorecards, so I’m sure you will find something of interest to view.
I now have a link below for anyone to access it and peruse at your leisure.

My appeal is to once again ask for all clubs to see if there are any old scorebooks stored away in attics, cellars, pavilions, or with scorers, retired players and especially previous Captains
If you do locate any, be it one book or more, I’d meet up with you, borrow them and return them after seeing what information they contain. I’m looking in particular for scorebooks up to and including the 2000 season.
I can be contacted at
Enjoy the archives and I’d love any feedback via the email above
Yours in cricket
Mark
